CANALSIDE

Visiting from near and far for a full day of rambunctious girls’ day adventures in Buffalo were Kathy R. of Clovis, CA, Linda M. of Irving, NY, Nance O. of Fredonia, NY, and Paulette B. from Sheridan, NY. The four friends were peering into the Longshed building on the Canalside boardwalk where an historic Erie Canal packet boat is under construction. The foursome was awaiting a scheduled ride aboard the @buffaloboattours‘ Big Kahuna tiki boat. “Linda’s idea,” says Nance, “she’s our travel agent.” “I look up all the fun things going on and in summer there’s a lot going on in Buffalo every day,” says Linda. The friends noted that Kathy visits from Cali about every two years and when she does, it’s full-on party time. “After the tiki cruise,” says Nance “we’ll have dinner someplace nearby, maybe @libertyhoundbuffalo.”
