The Pan Family (mom Amy, dad Rup, and their nine-year-old daughter, who was spinning around merrily on the carousel), were visiting the new Buffalo Heritage Carousel at Canalside on the Buffalo Waterfront. They flew in from Manhattan and were loving their weekend visit to Buffalo. The trio was staying at a hotel near Canalside and liked that they could walk to many nearby attractions. “We also visited Buffalo Museum of Science,” Amy says, “that was great. We also went to Niagara Falls and couldn’t believe how big it is.” “Our daughter is really enjoying the Carousel,” Rup says. “We like that it’s solar-powered. It’s also beautifully designed. This is our first time in Buffalo but we are already thinking about returning for another visit to see more.”
