Houston Gym – Buffalo State

Along with the Sports Arena, Houston Gym forms the college’s 70,000-square-foot Sports Complex and is home to the NCAA Division III Buffalo State Bengals.

The redesigned facility features bright and easy wayfinding, all new staff offices, a beautiful new Fitness Center, an upgraded Kissinger Pool and Houston Gymnasium recreation and practice facility, an expanded Varsity Weight Room, a state-of-the-art athletic training and rehab facility, the Carolyn Lehr Student-Athlete Academic Center, a multi-purpose studio, three refinished racquetball courts, a spinning room, locker rooms dedicated year-round to all of the Bengals’ outdoor sports teams as well as swimming and diving, and more.

Surrounding athletics facilities include Coyer Field, Softball Field, practice fields, and a quarter mile (400 meter) outdoor track.

Houston Gym also houses the Intercollegiate Athletics Office, and offices for Health and Wellness Department faculty.
