The NYS Bar Exam will be held at the Buffalo Convention Center on Tuesday, February 25 & Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Box Lunch Meal Deal

The Buffalo Convention Center will be offering box lunches during the lunch break on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can purchase your box lunch and have it waiting for you at the Convention Center immediately following dismissal for lunch. Lunch must be pre-paid. You need to have your photo ID in order to pick up your boxed lunch.

Public Parking Lots

For your convenience here is a map that outlines public parking facilities in the neighborhood of the Convention Center.

While in Buffalo, the easiest way to get around is to utilize the NFTA’s Metro bus and rail service. To find the best route for you to take to and from the Buffalo Convention Center, (153 Franklin Street, Buffalo 14202) please consult their website.

When boarding, exact change is required. Drivers do not make change. The fare is $2.00/person (each way).

If you are flying into the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, check out the schedule for Metro’s Route 204 bus. It goes from the airport directly downtown and accesses some of the major hotels (total fare is: $2.00 – exact change only). The first shuttle back to the airport after the exam departs from the Convention Center on Wednesday, July 31st ONLY beginning at 5:15 pm. The last shuttle departs the Buffalo Convention Center at 6:00 pm.

Directions to the Buffalo Convention Center

The Buffalo Convention Center is the test site for the NYS Bar Exam on the dates of Tuesday, February 25 & Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Buffalo adjacent to the city’s business district. A map of the area around the Convention Center is below. The physical address of the Convention Center, for the purposes of map requests on the Internet, is 153 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.

Personal Belongings

All coats, jackets, outerwear, bags (including laptop bags), and other prohibited items should be left at home, in your hotel, or in your car. Board policy provides that any items you bring to the test site must be stored, at your own risk, in a Personal Belongings Room upon arrival. Do not bring luggage with you to the examination site. We will not have space available for luggage in the Personal Belongings Room.

Security

Every attempt has been made to make your stay in Buffalo Niagara a pleasant one. We respectfully request that you use caution when storing laptops, purses and other personal belongs in your car. Leaving personal items in plain sight is just baiting someone who may be looking to do wrong. Please lock your valuables in the trunk of your car.

The Buffalo Police and Erie County Sheriff’s departments have been informed of the influx of people attending the NYS Bar Exam. The Police and Sheriffs departments have assured us they will focus attention on the downtown area before, during and after the exam.
