Coyer Field – Buffalo State
DESCRIPTION: Coyer Field opened in the early 1960s as natural grass surface. The current facility has seating capacity for 3,000, a 400-meter track, an all-sport scoreboard, jumping pits, and a 35-seat press box. The field serves as the home for football, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's outdoor track and field. Construction was completed in August, 2008, to convert the playing surface to a synthetic grass surface supplied by A-Turf.

The current facility has seating capacity for 3,000, a 400-meter track, an all-sport scoreboard, jumping pits, Musco field lighting, and a 35-seat press box. The field serves as the home for football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. Construction was completed in August 2008 and was upgraded to FieldTurf’s Vertex during the summer of 2019. A new Samsung Prismview video scoreboard was also installed in 2019. The Track and Field areas received a facelift in the summer of 2023.
Coyer Field is located off Grant Street. The closest parking is in Lots G-24, G-22, and I-39.
