Celebrate With Us
Boasting not one, but two St. Patrick’s Day parades, Buffalo celebrates the heritage of its proud, large Irish population with a weekend of celebrations eclipsing the majority of cities in the United States.
Planning your St. Patrick’s Day in Buffalo begins with the Old Neighborhood Parade. Taking place in Buffalo’s famously authentic Old First Ward neighborhood, the parade marches past some of the city’s premier Irish pubs and taverns. But make sure to save some energy for Sunday’s big St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Join tens of thousands of spectators clad in green, white and orange as a procession of floats, cars and bagpipes make their way down Delaware Avenue from Downtown Buffalo.
As they say, everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day – and that’s doubly true here in Buffalo. Check out the blogs below for all the ways make the most of your time in Irish Buffalo.
